Team Canada National Director
Master Tom Shamuon is the Director of the Canadian National Martial Arts Team. He is also the head coach that guides the athletes to becoming the best competitors. He currently holds the title of 8th level black sash in Shaolin Kung fu. His experience in tournaments dates back to over 30 years of experience. Since 2001 he took the spot of Canadian Team Coach, since then, Master Tom Shamuon has built up a large track record of coaching top athletes who have become national and international champions. His leadership and instruction has lead to various Hall of Fame inductions and awards. Master Tom Shamuon is also a top athlete himself, winning various competition and holding titles such as Triple Crown World Champion. Many martial artists from around the world look for Master Shamuon’s leadership and direction and we are lucky to have him help our athletes.
Team Canada Captain
Sifu Lorenza Shamuon is the head captain of the Canadian National Martial Arts Team. She is a top competitor that is known around the world. Sifu Lorenza has been in the martial arts for over 19 years and has been competing from the start. Sifu Lorenza has won many national and international competitions and has won many awards and titles such as being an undefeated Triple Crown World Champion for 6 years running, a National Champion, as well as a Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee. Sifu Lorenza is a top athlete that has been highlighted in many local newspapers and television shows, the highest honour, being featured on Sports Axxess, a show that features top female athletes in Canada.
