We hope that you enjoy our new and improved website. We are still updating various sections of the website (mostly the ‘media’ section) so we ask for your patience. To be apart of Team Canada is to be apart of something special. While competitors compete for their country, receiving letters from Mayors and even the Prime Minister of Canada really adds a surreal feeling to being an international athlete.

Goodwill Games 2008 was the first competition that I attended as part of Team Canada. While it was nerve racking, Head coach Sibok Tom and Captain Sifu Lorenza trained the team so well that I and the rest of the team were prepared mentally and physically for the competition. I ended up winning 3 Gold and 1 Silver.
The entire week was a lot of fun, all the families got along so well and the team did very well. Being in the hot Mexican sun during the Canadian winter months was very welcome…even if it was only for a week.
I look forward to the next tournament in Cuba!
